Rachel {7 Days New} | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Exactly one week after her birth, I had the chance to meet Little Rachel. You can tell from her smile that she already feels incredibly loved and secure.

I must say that I think green is Rachel’s color.  She looks stunning, especially with her beautiful dark hair just like mom!

This is one of my favorite images.  I love how being nestled in a bed of soft fur (faux, of course!) shows just how tiny newborns are.

It’s great when parents incorporate some of their own pieces into the shoot, like this cute animal-print diaper cover and bow (and the leopard swaddle a little later in the post).  Mom has wonderful fashion sense!

Of course I had to bring along some of my favorite pieces, too!  I love this next shot.  Mom commented that Rachel looked like a little flapper with this headband on.

Here’s another favorite.  Okay, Okay…Actually, I have a lot of favorites from this session!  There were just too many photos from which to choose.  Rachel was the perfect model.  And her cute little chin just makes me say, “Aww…”

Rachel was so adorable that I wanted to take her home with me.  But, alas…I think she wanted more mommy time.
