Leaping Lizards

When I arrived home from the gym on Saturday, a little friend was waiting for me outside my door.  I think he was just hanging around to remind me to appreciate the beauty around me.  I was struck by his bright green coat and the way he coordinated with the trees in the background.  Excited that I had my camera in my car, I jumped out, went to the trunk, and quickly took a photo, afraid that he might run away.  I quickly realized that I couldn’t get the closeup that I wanted with my 35mm lens because I was afraid that he might leap from his spot on the wall and perch on my head instead.  LOL!  No worries…I went back to my car, grabbed my 85mm lens, and made this photo.  I’m glad it did the trick.  Here’s lookin’ at you, kid!  Happy Monday!
