Carla and Co.

I was so happy when Carla contacted me to say that she would be visiting family in Atlanta and wanted to schedule a session while she was in town.  I found a great location that would serve as the perfect backdrop for her beautiful family.  Her kids are the cutest, and I just love their sandy brown hair!

About 5 minutes after the session started, the sky opened up.  A complete downpour for which we were not prepared.  Nope…no umbrellas!  We hightailed it out of the park and found shelter in a nearby building.  After drying off and eating a snack, we decided to make the most out of a soggy situation.  R and E had fun jumping around like frogs as we waited out the rain.

R and E are classic 2- and 6-year-olds.  They showed me different sides of their personalities in the time we were together.  You’ve heard me say it before…I love the serious look of young children.  It makes me wonder what is on their minds.  And I love the confident smile E gave me having just met me about 30 minutes before.

A little game of “Simon Says” is the perfect way to get some smiles out of kids.  After making silly faces and jumping up and down, I captured these moments.
